If you were to prepare for 15 days for Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Higher Degree) entrance exam. I would recommend focusing on Core mathematics that you had learnt in College and 10+2. It is best to study the egilibility criteria because many students had often overestimated the exam syllabus and left out simple key points.And, fail.

It is difficult to find the official list of BITS HD exam locations in Kerala for 2025. However, in the past, BITS Pilani has held HD exams in important cities like Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. Check the exam brochure or the official website for the most recent information.

The BITS HD test centres list is now available along with the information brochure. The BITS HD exam will be conducted in 53 cities. The list of the exam cities are updated on the official website. Candidates can select upto three exam cities in their application form.

Candidates can select at least three test centres according to their preferences for the BITS HD examination. The final list of centres will depend on the number of applicants and their preferences. The details of the test centre along with the address will be printed on the BITS HD exam admit card.

BITS HD slot booking is done online only. Candidates can follow the steps below to book their slots for the BITS HD exam.
Visit the official website of BITS HD
Click on the Online Test Booking System link
Proceed to the next stage by entering the application number and password.
Select the exam centre, date, and preferred slot from the options.
Preview and submit the details.
Candidates who successfully make the slot booking can download the BITS HD hall ticket for the examination. No admit card will be provided without slot booking.

The syllabus for BITS HD mechanical engineering is as follows -
Production techniques - metal casting, metal forming, machining process, etc.
Materials science and engineering - structure of materials (metals and ceramics), mechanisms of metals, mechanical and thermal properties of metals, etc.
Production planning and control - forecasting and product planning, process planning, inventory and quality control, etc.
Heat transfer - steady state and unsteady state heat conduction, radiation and heat transfer, etc.
Fluide mechanics and machines - fluid statics, dimensional analysis, etc.

Linear algebra - matrix algebra, system of linear equations, etc.

The criteria for an BITS HD M.E in Communication Engineering are as follows -
Candidate must have completed an integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised university/institute.

Candidates applying for the BITS HD examination must meet specific criteria -
The minimum qualifying percentage in the examination must be 60% from a recognised university/institute.
