Yes, BMS College of Engineering allows Lateral Entry in second year of B.E. Candidates need minimum 45% in any Diploma or equivalent exam to be eligible for admission through Lateral Entry. Minimum aggregate required for ST/SC/OBC candidates of Karnataka in Diploma is 40%.

Yes, BMS College of Engineering B.E. admission is open. Candidates can apply on official website for admission through Management Quota. The KCET 2026 mock round option entry portal was open till Jun 30, 2026. On the other hand, COMEDK UGET counselling registration window for the BE/BTech course is also closed.

- Physics & Mathematics is compulsory in Class 12.
- Optional Subjects: the highest Marks obtained in any of the subjects- Chemistry/ Biology/Bio-Tech./Computer Science/Electronics is considered for Engineering.
