With a 4487 rank in COMEDK, you may face problems in getting admission in both institutes, especially RVCE. The cutoff rank at RV College of Engineering in the year 2024 was 1636 for EC for general all-India. The cutoff at BMSCE was also on the higher side in the previous years. Although it cannot be guaranteed as the cutoff varies every year as per the seat intake and applicant's score. If you are not selected, you can also apply for other institutes, which can provide you a seat based on your rank.

With a KCET rank of 18,000, securing admission to the Aerospace Engineering programme at BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) through the general merit category is unlikely. Historically, the cutoff rank for this programme has been significantly lower. For instance, in 2024, the closing rank for Aerospace Engineering was 8,027.

Given your rank, you might consider alternative admission routes, such as the management quota. The annual fee for the Aerospace Engineering programme under the management quota is ?4,00,000
