For the class of 2029, Brown University received over 42,700 student applications, of which just 2,400 were offered the opportunity to get themselves enrolled at the Brown University campus. This makes the Brown University acceptance rate just 5.6%, meaning that out of every 100 students who apply to the university, only 5-6 applicants are likely to be selected, meaning that the admission criteria of the unviersity are extremely selective. Thus, it can be concluded that getting into Brown University is extermely competitive.
