Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in BOPEE nursing exam. If the candidate choses correct option, he/she will be awarded +1 mark. However, if the candidate choses incorrect option -0.25 will be deducted per question. Hence, candidates must choose the options carefully to avoid the negative scoring.

The BOPEE BSc nursing exam carries 180 questions of 1 mark each. These 180 questions will be divided in three parts, i.e. 60 questions each in three sections. The exam will be OMR based, therefore candidates are advised to fill the choices carefully.

There is also a negative marking scheme which would lead to deduction in marks in case the candidate chose incorrect option. There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark per question for each incorrect response chosen at the time of answering.

The BOPEE BSc nursing application process for the current academic year has closed. However, candidates can expect the JKBOPEE BSc nursing registration to begin in March 2026 akin to this year. The JKBOPEE BSc nursing application forms are made available generally for a period of 30 days. Last year, the JKBOPEE BSc nursing application fee was INR 1000/-. However, a slight increase in the JKBOPEE BSc nursing application fee can be expected in the next year. The official confirmation of all the details of registration will be done at the official website, jkbopee.gov.in by the exam organizing body.

BOPEE Eligibility criteria states that the candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh. The applicant must be at least 17 years old on 31st December of the exam year and not more than 35 years. The aspirant must have passed the qualifying 12th class with minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) for Open Merit category and 40% for reserved categories. English must be a compulsory subject in 12th class.

BOPEE BSc exam syllabus is provided in the information brochure for the aspirants. The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabi of 12th class. The syllabus details important topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology section.

A challenge fee of INR 1000/- per paper is to be paid with the proof to challenge the answer key. There is no objection fee per question. A combined fee for challenging multiple questions has to be paid by the aspirants. This process needs to be done in offline mode. Candidate will have to send the challenge via post at the POS terminal at J&K BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar. The application received within 03 (three) days will only be considered for evaluation. Any application received after result declaration will not be entertained.

Yes, candidate finding any discrepancy in the Question Paper and Answer Key can submit representation along with proper proof within three working days after the exam concludes. A challenge fee of INR 1000/- per representation per paper is to be paid at the POS terminal at J&K BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar.
