In 2012, the DY Patil Pratishthan Society founded the Pune, Maharashtra-based DY Patil Institute of Engineering Management and Research. Chemical, mechanical, computer, electronics and telecommunication, civil, and chemical engineering are the six specialisations in which the Institute offers BE courses. Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, the college holds AICTE approval. Accreditation from the NAAC was granted with a "B+." The four-year undergraduate B.Tech. programme in computer Science and engineering is offered by Dr. CV Raman University in Bihar. There are 60 seats available for the course.
