A candidate who has passed the 3 years or 4 years Diploma examination with a minimum of 50% marks in any Maharashtra State or from any other Technical Board recognised as equivalent thereto or by any other A candidate who has passed the Diploma examination in First Class in a specific branch of Maharashtra State, or an examination from any other Technical Board recognised as equivalent thereto or by any other. The selection process for B.Tech is centralized by DTE, and the selection is based on merit in the qualifying exam.

SNDT Women’s University may issue a Provisional Certificate of Eligibility if it is satisfied that the applicant is prima facie eligible for admission to the university. If a candidate fails to obtain the Final Certificate of Eligibility and Migration certificate before the close of the academic term, in which she is provisionally admitted to the University, her admission to the Department/College and her attendance at lectures during the term are liable to be canceled.

To be eligible for B.Tech at SNDT College, Mumbai, candidates need to appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains will be preferred over MHT-CET. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply. For Bachelor of Information Technology, a candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Backward Class candidates from Maharashtra State) in Physics, Mathematics, and the subject of maximum marks amongst the four. The branch to which such a candidate is eligible to be admitted shall be as approved by the B.Tech admissions are centralized by DTE.
