The university accepts course-wise specified entrance exams or merit-based scores in qualifying exams. Admission to VGU is through the common exam VGUCET, and also accepting scores of CUET, JEE Mains, for Science and Engineering, CAT/MAT/XAT for MBA/PGDM, UCEED for Designing, etc.

Admission to B. Tech programs at Vivekananda Global University is determined by JEE Mains, CUET, and VGUCET scores.
