A pass in Diploma in Engineering in any branch/ discipline of three-year duration with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for BTech (LE) course. Candidates who have passed BSc degree with at least 50% aggregate and passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject can also apply. Candidates must prove their eligibility during the verification process to avoid rejection at later stages of admission. The selection to BTech (LE) course will be based on MRNAT score. The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 4.4 lakh- INR 13.4 lakh at Manav Rachna University. Students have to pay the intial amount after selection rounds to block a seat at the university's programme. The lower amount in the range if of BTech (Hons) Mechanical and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The fees is high for BTech CSE and new-age specialisations, such as AI, Robotics & AI.

The selection to BTech course at Manav Rachna University is based on MRNAT score. MRNAT is a national-level entrance examination conducted every year. MRNAT is an objective type online-based entrance test of 90 minutes duration with questions from the syllabus covered in the qualifying exam. Manav Rachna University also accepts scores in JEE Main, SAT, etc. Aspirants can also appear for MRST conducted as an alternative exam by the university for admission.

In case the seat remain vacant after filling it based on JEE Main scores, the university considers qualifying exam scores for the remaining seats.

The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 9.2 Lacs - INR 22 lakh at DY Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai. The lower amount in the range is for BTech in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics & Data Science, Food Science & Technology. The higher is for more advanced specialisations, such as AI & Data Science, Cyber Security, Nano Science & Technology and Computer Engineering.

To apply for B.Tech course at Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai student need to meet the last educational qualification. Aspirants need to complete Class 12 with 50% to 60% aggregate with Science stream. Candidates must have JEE Main, MHT CET or SAT scores for admission. Candidates can also appear for entrance test conducted by the deemed-to-be university.
