Students must qualify JEE Main/MH-CET for B.E. admissions, GATE for M.E. admissions and MH-CET/CAT/MAT/AMIE for MBA admissions.
The basic eligibility criteria to apply for admissions is to have a score of 50% in the last qualifying exam for the general/open category and 45% for the reserved category.
- B.E. admissions require students to have studied Science stream and score 50% in PCM.
- For M.E. admissions, a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree would be acceptable.
- For MBA 50% in any discipline of bachelor’s would be accepted.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) admissions 2024 are entrance based. Candidates who wish to take admission to VTU BTech proramme must appear for the entrance examination. The College does not offer direct admission to candidates in any of the programmes. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BTech programme must appear for either KCET or COMEDK and qualify the eligiblity criteria.

Visvesvaraya Technological University accepts multiple entrance exams fro BTech. KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ JEE Main are few of the entrance exams for BTech admission. Candidates are required to apply/regiater for the exam by visiting their official website. However, there are a minimum eligibility criteria for the BTech, which candidates must qualify for admission.
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 or equivalent qualification with English as one of the language with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates) in Physics and Mathematics along with one optional subject
