Yes, Plaksha University welcomes applications from students who are coming from Commerce and Humanities backgrounds for the majors: Data Science, Business and Economics, as long as they have studied Mathematics up to Class 12. The university accepts applications in multiple rounds. However, interested candidates can submit the application only once.

For admission to the Ahmedabad University BTech course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects or equivalent from a recognised board. Aspirants need to qualify for the respective entrance exam and fill an online application form to apply for the BTech course. The university allocates 50% of seats to the JEE Main qualifiers through group counselling and the remaining 50% of seats are allocated through ACPC based on GUJCET scores to students belonging to the Gujarat domicile.

Ahmedabad University offers admission to BTech through national/state-level entrance exam. Those who belong to Gujarat domicile can apply via a valid score of GUJCET as per the ACPC norms. Admission to candidates from outside of Gujarat is offered based on the scores of JEE Main. The university allocates 50% of seats to the JEE Main qualifiers through group counselling and the remaining 50% of seats are allocated through ACPC based on GUJCET scores to students belonging to the Gujarat domicile.

TMI offers a four-year UG course of BTech in Marine Engineering. The tuition fee for BTech course is INR 8.4 lakh for all four years. For admission to BTech at Hindustan University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The next step of the selection criteria is to qualify for an entrance exam. The university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE), which needs to be qualified with a valid score. This entrance exam is specifically conducted by HITS for admission of candidates to its BTech course. This exam is valid for both BTech and BTech (Lateral Entry) course. Hindustan University offers a four-year BTech course. Apart from this students can also get direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. The university offers two additional subject options in collaboration with IBM. At Hindustan University, the curriculum of the course is designed in such as way that it helps students to get both theoretical and practical learning, which get possible with the help if Funded Research Projects and many industrial collaborations.
