United Group of Institutions also offers Lateral Entry admission to B. Tech program. For B.Tech, students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology, Language and any other subject from a recognised board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

With 75 percentile in JEE Mains, you might not be able to get an NIT or IIIT, but you might get following colleges with CSE: Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology, Ashta, Sangli Birbhum Institute Of Engineering & Technology Hooghly Engineering & Technology College

The Gopalan College of Engineering and Management in Bangalore does not require the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) in order to offer admission to BTech programs.
Exams and entry methods accepted for GCEM BTech admission are:
1) Karnataka Common Entrance Test, or KCET
2) COMEDK, or the Karnataka Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges
3) Direct admission without an entrance exam under the management quota
4) Lateral entry admission: Candidates with a diploma

Each B.Tech course may have a different seat intake. Every year, 120 places are made available for B.Tech programmes in computer Science and engineering. Each year, about 60 seats will be available for the B.Tech programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Depending on demand, seats for all the other courses will be available.
