The primary eligibility requirement to get admission into BTech courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Additionally, for the selection process, the college accepts TNEA counselling. This is the online counselling process conducted by Anna University for admission to BE/ BTech programmes in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges. It is based on Class 12 marks, and no entrance exam is conducted.

The Sasurie College of Engineering offers several BTech/ BE specialisations. Some of the offered specialisations are- Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, etc. Moreover, the institute also offers lateral entry to some of the BTech specialsiation. The basic eligibility requirement and admission process are almost similar for all BTech courses.

No, candidates are not allowed to get admissions into BTech at Sasurie College of Engineering after completing Class 12 from PCB stream. Because the primary eligibility requirement to get admission into BTech courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Additionally, for the selection process, the college accepts TNEA counselling.

Yes, Sasurie College of Engineering does offer scholarships to BTech students. The college offers several scholarships to deserving students. In addition, SCE and Ponmudi Muthusamy Gounder Trust provide a 100% tuition fee scholarship for the best students through the STE (SASURIE TALENT EXAM) every year. The college launched this scholarship to change the lives of multiple economically and merit-based students and also to uplift the younger generation and their future professional careers.

The total number of seats offered in the BTech course at  Sasurie College of Engineering is 600 from which the institute offers the maximum number of BTech seats to two specialisations i.e., Electronic and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. Sasurie College of Engineering offers more than eight specialsiations in BTech courses. The total seat intake for all BTech specialisation is 600. To get a seat in the programme, a candidate must complete their Class 12 in the PCM stream with at least 45% aggregate. For the selection, the college accepts TNEA. This is the online counselling process that Anna University conducts for admission to BE/ BTech programmes in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges.
