The deadline to fill out the BTech application form at Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus was June 10, 2025. Therefore, the deadline has been announced. Moreover, the counselling process by the university's end is also done. Now, candidates who receive admission letters can continue their courses further after paying an adequate amount of course fees.

Nationality & Age:-Must be an Indian citizen.Completed 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year.
Academic Qualifications:-Must have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary (or equivalent) from a recognised board.
Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, plus at least one of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Biology. Minimum aggregate of 45% in these subjects (some sources note 50% for Math in NRI category). Rounding of percentages is not permitted—raw marks used.

As per the AJCE BTech selection criteria, the college shortlisted the candidates based on their scores obtained in the entrance exam, i.e., JEE Main and KEAM. Candidates who graduate in the relevant subjects are eligible to apply. This admission through the entrance ensures that only qualified candidates are selected for the M.Tech course. In order to be admitted to Amal Jyothi, applicants must meet the general selection and eligibility criteria.

Yes, candidates can get admission to the BTech at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering without appearing for the JEE Main exam. Yes, the RV Institute of Technology and Management may reserve seats under different categories in its BE programmes. However, for admission in these reserved seats, the relevant documents have to be submitted. On verification, the seat allotment is done. RV Institute of Technology and Management admit candidates based on performance in KCET/ COMEDK. The cutoff list is released following the exam result. Candidates who meet the RVITM BE cutoff become eligible for seat allotment. In 2024, the second round closing rank for the general All-India category candidates was 10066 for CSE, 13924 for Information Science and Engineering, and 15188 for ECE. Considering the last three years' cutoff data, a declining trend is observed.
