It is mandatory to participate in GD/PI round for admission to MBA programmes at UPES, Dehradun. Those who don't appear for GD/PI their candidature will be cancelled. UPES will conduct GD/PI rounds for the shortlsited candidates. Students are shortlisted for the selection rounds based on the scores in entrance examination. Final admission to MBA programme will be offered on the basis of the entrance examination score and performance in GD/PI.

Apart from UPESMET, the institute accepts CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT score for admission to its MBA programmes. Candidates having valid score in any of the entrance examination score will be exempted from UPESMET exam. Such candidates will be shortlisted for the GD/PI rpounds through the national level entrance examination scores.

UPESMET counselling rounds booking process will commence soon after the declaration of results. Qualified candidates must book the GD/PI slots within the given period, failing which candidate will not be considered for admission process. Candidate smust visit the official website of UPES to book the GD/PI slots.

To appear for UPESMET cousnelling, candidates must keep following documents ready:

  • Print of UPESMET scorecard
  • Scorecard of  CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT
  • Fee payment confirmation slip
  • Class 10 mark sheet (original and photocopy)
  • Class 12 mark sheet (original and photocopy)
  • Graduation mark sheet (original and photocopy)
  • Work experience certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration certificate if applicable
  • A valid Photo-Identity proof

Due to the safety amid the pandemic, St. Xavier's College had conducted the BMS entrance exam from home in a video proctored mode. Candidates who did not have a laptop/desktop can even appear for the exam via a smartphone. However, since the things have now went back to normal, Xavier's entrance test for BCom (Management Studies) admissions and BA MCJ admissions will be held from the test centres only.
