Each university/college has specific admission standards that applicants must achieve to be accepted into the Distance MBA Learning. Students need to meet the below-mentioned criteria to be eligible for the distance education universities in Ahmedabad:
- Any graduate candidate can apply for the MBA Distance education. The only condition that the students need to fulfil is the completion of the bachelor's degree programme from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% marks.
- There is no maximum age for MBA Distance eligibility, but candidates must have passed certified MBA admission exams taken by the colleges

As per the students reviews on the internet and on Shiksha, it can be said that XLRI has good infrastructure. The B-school has two hostels (one for only boys and one for only girls) on its campus.
