The students of MBA at VTU can apply for various scholarships being run by the State Government of Karnataka. For scholarships provided by the state government, students can apply at the State Scholarship Portal of the Karnataka government. Yes, the MBA students of VTU are eligible for PG level scholarships run by the state government of Karnataka. As the VTU Scholarships are provided by the state government, students can visit the Karnataka State Scholarships Portal to check their eligibility for state scholarships. There are about 500+ best MBA colleges in Karnataka. Of these, 363 colleges are privately owned, 41 are owned by public/government organisations and public-private entities own only 2 MBA college. Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, MAT, CAT, CMAT, and XAT are the most accepting entrance exams in top MBA colleges in Karnataka.
IIM Bangalore, T A Pai Management Institute, Christ University, Jain Deemed-to-be University, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, etc. are some of the popular MBA colleges in Karnataka.

Yes, the students pursuing MBA from VTU have to go through an internship during the second year of the course. Internship is a compulsory part of the MBA curriculum. Internship exams are held during the third semester of the programme. However, VTU is not known to provide any internship opportunities through any internship drive.

Candidates called for Osmania University MBA admission must present in person and submit all the ORIGINAL certificates listed below, along with two sets of photocopies:
- OUMBACET - hall ticket
- OUMBACET - rank card
- Degree Certificate (or Provisional Certificate if the Degree Certificate hasn't been issued yet)
- Marks Sheets (Part-I and Part-II) of the qualifying degree examination.
- Proof of Local/Non-Local status as per current rules:
- If you studied Intermediate and Degree courses as a regular student, submit bonafide certificates from the colleges where you studied.

The MBA department of VTU offers specialisation in Marketing, Finance and Human Resources. Students can also opt for dual or core specialisations. Apart from these three, various specialisations are offered through online MBA programme run by the university. VTU also offers MBA in various specialisations through its affiliated colleges.

The total student intake at VTU Belgaum for its MBA programme is of 120 students. Apart from these, the colleges affiliated with VTU also provide an MBA in various specialisations. These seats are allocated on the basis of scores of various accepted entrance exams. These exams include Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, XAT, CAT, etc.

The placements at VTU have shown an increasing trend over the previous years. The median package offered to MBA students at VTU increased from INR 3.5 LPA in 20221 to INR 3.65 LPA in 2022. Many new recruiters are getting on-board for the placement drive at VTU each year.
