No, the SET exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the SET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the internet-based test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the SET exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the SET exam centre and take the exam online. They can choose upto three preferred SET test cities during the SET exam registration. Candidates can choose upto three SET test cities according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the SET application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only if the seats have been filled or the exam centre has been cancelled at that location. For admission to UOT Jaipur MBA course, candidate should have passed at least a three-year bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Candidate should have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for the reserved category candidates).
