There is no policy of direct admission. Students across all courses are admitted only on the basis of fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria and successfully qualifying the selection process. There is no paid fee or management quota in JGU .

UBS Chandigarh MBA admission interview begins with the checking of the documents. Then the candidates are called for the group discussion in batches. After the GD is over, the candidates are called one by one for the personal interview. During the interview, a candidate has to sit in front of a panel that asks a set of questions. The questions are generally related to educational background and in the area of specialisation chosen by the candidate.

There are a total of 120 seats for the 2 Year MBA and 10 Seats for the One Year Global MBA in Business Analytics Program. A minimum of two years of Work Experience is also mandatory for the One Year Global MBA course.

For an MBA at UBS Chandigarh, a candidate must fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed by the authorities. Candidates with a valid bachelor's degree from a recognised university and a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible. There is 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD/ BC candidates.
