Satisfied with the infrastructure, campus life, crowd, and academic excellence.

Placements: Even though achieving 100% placements is quite difficult, GIM BDA has seen 90%+ students getting placed consistently over the years. The highest package is around 25 LPA and the lowest is around 10 LPA. Top companies include Accenture, JPMC, HSBC, EY, Optum, Aditya Birla, Natwest, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is exceptional. You also get to witness a serene view of the mountains from various points inside the campus. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi installed in all the hostel rooms, classrooms, and labs with good speed. The mess food is above average and most people say it is better than other residential campuses. There is a lot of variety every week. The sports facilities are also phenomenal but medical services are pretty average.

Faculty: Most of the faculty is wonderful here, with a few exceptions. Honesty, you have to rely on self-study at the end of the day. But the teachers are very helpful. The curriculum is quite technical and people who come from unrelated backgrounds and have no interest in analytics, states, programming, or Maths might struggle. There are mid-term and end-term examinations along with weekly quizzes. You can easily pass in them with a decent effort.

Other: A lot of extracurricular and academic activities and fests/parties keep happening throughout the year. There are multiple student-driven clubs and committees which keep the students engaged. There is not a dull day at GIM!

Even after being a 4-year-old programme BDA has achieved new heights and has set new records when it comes to placements. The programme achieved 100% placements in the month of December itself with the highest package of 30.17 LPA, setting an all-time high college record. The average is also expected to increase and go above 13+ LPA. The highest package of SIP is 1.2 Lacs per month. Top recruiters visited the campus from various sectors and have offered various job roles in Analytics as well in General Management.

Infrastructure: GIM has the best classroom infrastructure with high-tech Labs powered by SAS and other Big Data tools Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Tableau, and so on. The placements have been extremely promising for a relatively new course. The major recruiters of our course are from the banking industry. The USP of GIM - Big Data Analytics is the 5-month summer internship program helping students gain hands-on industry experience on analytical tools.

Infrastructure: I would rate the college 10/10 in terms of infrastructure. Labs are equipped with powerful analytical tools that are accessible 24X7 by students. The campus is lush green and is Wi-Fi enabled throughout. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The mess offers a variety of dishes both Continental/Indian and is maintained by a student-driven health club. Medical assistance is available 24X7 for the students.

It is one of the best colleges for data science and analytics enthusiasts.

Placements: PGDM in big data analytics programme was started in 2018. Within 3 years, our college is rated among the top 3 colleges by Analytics Insight, MBA Universe, Outlook and many other rating platforms. Even though it is a new programme with a batch strength of above 100 students, it is still providing 100% placements and doing better every year. The highest salary package offered for SIP was 1.2 LPA, while in final placements, it was 21.6 LPA. The average stipend offered for the summer internship was Rs. 40,000 per month, and the average salary package offered was 11.7 LPA. Major roles offered here were data scientist, data analyst, business analyst and also other roles by companies which visit here for recruitment.

Infrastructure: If you like the environment and embrace peace, then Goa Institute of Management is a perfect place. It is surrounded by serene beauty, mountains and lovely weather. The infrastructure here is very good. Every facility like gym, parking areas, shops, nice and tidy hostels are available within the campus.

Faculty: All professors here are well qualified and have a lot of industry exposure. The course curriculum is mainly case-based and also provides practical aspects, which makes it easy to understand difficult concepts. The curriculum is designed in such a way that non-technical background students can also understand concepts easily and do well in their studies.

Other: The main reason for me to join this college is its increasing demand for Big Data Analytics programme. Moreover, our college ranking is increased from 49 to 35 in NIRF, and also it has increased exposure to students. A lot of events are organised here, and every festival is celebrated with diverse students. The diversity in GIM is one of the things to consider.
