Both Kirloskar Institute of Mangement and MIT World Peace University are well known colleges of Pune, Which comes first in minds of student pursuing their Masters in management studies. 

The fees and facilitate of both the colleges in approximately same, however the placement rates at Kirloskar is better with 95 percent while the same for MIT-WPU is 85 percent. The average package offered at Kirloskar Institute of Mangement for MBA is INR 8 Lacs per annum,   while it is INR 7 Lacs for MIT-WPU.

So, while both the institutes are good enough, Kirloskar Institute of Mangement gets an upper hand .

The university has maintained a 90% placement record, offering salary packages ranging from Rs 1 Lacs per annum to as high as Rs 20 Lacs per annum. The university overall has provided more than 25,000 placement opportunities to over 700 AKTU-affiliated colleges

If u want to do your MBA then prepare for any management exam like CAT, MAT and try to get good score so that u can get good business school which have better placement.

Admission to MBA programs (Regular/ Part Time) offered by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University is granted on the basis of aggregate in a score of CMAT/CAT/MAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Only persons who have completed bachelor's (first-cycle) studies and have at least three years of practical work experience are admitted, who meet the requirements set by the University related to the nature of the program.

KTU accepts different scholarships awarded to students for their merit and other criteria. The scholarship offered by the university is mentioned below.

Scholarship - National Handicapped Financial and Development Corporation

Description: Candidates with disability are provided with this scholarship. Around 2500 students are awarded this scholarship every year. The scholarship is offered to candidates studying for UG or PG courses.

External Part-time Candidates (Candidates working in firms/institutions not affiliated to KTU and approved by KTU) should have a GATE score/CAT score > 80 percentile.

However, for full time students 70-80 percentile in the CAT exam is accepted. So as you have 76% there is a chance you may get admission in KTU. 

 

A student should also have a minimum of 45% marks in the end-semester examination to be eligible for grading in a course. Otherwise, he/she will be considered to have failed in the course and an F grade will be awarded

There are good career prospects after completing MBA from Kirloskar College Pune.Kirloskar College offers a blend of great industry exposure, hand-on learning, excellent live projects, summer internsips and placement opportunties, highly qualified faculty, state-of-art infrastructure, huge alumni base and many more amenities. Top recruiters like Grant Thorton, Deloitte, VE Commercial Vehicle Ltd., Reliance Retail Ltd. and many more visited for campus placement drive. 95% of the students got placed with the highest package of INR 14.50 LPA and average package of INR 8 LPA. 41% of the total offers came from the Consulting sector. 75 comp

Students can get a seat for MBA in Kirloskar Institute of Mangement through qualifying the entrance examinations like CAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, XAT or MHT-CET. 

It may or not be possible for students with minimum cutoff in any of these examinations to be qualified for admission in Kirloskar Institute of Mangement, Pune for MBA, depending upon the entrance examinations.
