The university shortlists candidates for MBA based on CUET-PG scores as UPCET has been scrapped out. Candidates are now shortlisted based on CUET-PG and will further be invited for counselling. Candidates who successfully go through the counselling will further be allotted a seat. The Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or CUET PG, is an all-India level entrance exam which is being introduced for admission into PG programmes. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes.

Invertis University admission is based on CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/ other central or state-level entrance exams. Aspirants who have not appeared for any of the entrance exams can appear for IUCET. The selected candidates are further called for a group discussion and personal interview round. Once the selection rounds are over, selected candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Selected candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Candidates need to pass bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate in any discipline is the basic eligibility for an MBA at Invertis University. The students belonging to SC/ST category get a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate to be eligible for the programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.
