The Calicut University conductes the Calicut University Common Admissions Test (CUCAT) once a year for admissions to various UG and PG courses for all categories of students belonging to the All India and Home State quota. According to the Calicut University CUCAT Cutoff 2024 for the General HS category, the BSc in Computer Science cutoff ranged between 460 to 989, wherein Sadanam Kumaran College was the hardest to get admission in for this course and Government Victoria College, the easiest.

According to the cutoff 2024, DM in Neurology programme cutoff was 204 for candidates belonging to the General category under the All India quota.
