From this year, Calicut University is conducting Calicut University Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2025 for admissions to various PG/ PG Integrated courses, MCA, BPEd, MSW, and BPES (Integrated), in University Centres and BPEd, MPEd, BPES (Integrated), MA Journalism and Mass Communication, MSW, MSc Health & Yoga Therapy, and MSc Forensic Science in affiliated colleges. CUCET 2025 will be conducted on May 6, 7, and 8, 2025. Online registration for CUCET opened on March 29, 2025. Earlier, the application deadline was set on April 15, 2025. The cutoff mark for the Master of Commerce at Calicut University is determined based on the applications submitted and the number of vacancies. All students must have a degree in B.Com or an equivalent one satisfying 45% marks, in order to be eligible. Cut-off marks for M.Com. change from year to year. Closure marks in 2022 for general category students stood around 35. No, its not hard to get admission at Calicut University. The university offers UG, PG, diploma, and doctoral courses, under 35 different departments divided into nine schools, for different streams, such as Engineering, Science, Law, Commerce, and Management, among others. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CMAT, CAT, KMAT, KMAT KERALA, and others. Calicut University has affordable fee structure. The fee structure of the programe ranges from INR 950- INR 45 lakh. The fee structure includes cumulative of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. Hostel fee is only valid for students opting for the accommodation facility. Candidates have to pay the course fee at the time of admission and then as per the frequency set by the institute.
