Admission to the BSc course at Calicut University is entrance-based. The minimum eligiblity required to apply for the course is Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45%-70% from a recognised university. However, as admissions are entrance-based, students are required to secure a valid score in the accepted entrance exams such to be eligible for the BSc course admission. In case a candidate does not score enough, or wants to consider other options for BSc admissions, they can always opt for other colleges offering online BSc course.

For candidates belonging to All India Quota, NEET PG Round 4 seat allotment for Calicut University MD/ MS cut off 2023 closing rank for MD in General Medicine stood at 138 for the General category AI candidates.
