Yes, CSUEB does accept backlogs from Indian universities. Admission at CSUEB is not just based on backlogs. GPA, Project experience, and overall academic performance are given more importance.
Students may be granted conditional admission provided they clear their backlogs by a specific time.

CSUEB offers conditional admission to UG programs to students who are academically qualified but have not met the English proficiency requirements at the time of application.
Such students have to attend the ALP intensive english programme until they meet the requirement (IELTS or TOEFL).

If a student is unable to attend the term they applied for at the Cal State University in East Bay, the admission will be cancelled.
The student will have to submit a NEW application and pay USD 70 (INR 6.5 K) in application fees.
1 USD = INR 92.85
