Yes, CSUEB does accept backlogs from Indian universities. Admission at CSUEB is not just based on backlogs. GPA, Project experience, and overall academic performance are given more importance.

Students may be granted conditional admission provided they clear their backlogs by a specific time.

CSUEB offers conditional admission to UG programs to students who are academically qualified but have not met the English proficiency requirements at the time of application.

Such students have to attend the ALP intensive english programme until they meet the requirement (IELTS or TOEFL).

Indian students need to pay USD 110 (INR 10.2 K) in enrollment deposit at the CSU East Bay. The deposit covers the mandatory orientation for students at the university. Students cannot register for classes without paying the same.

Students can pay the deposit online via the student center.
