It is relatively easy for Indian students to get into CSUEB. The university maintains a 97% acceptance rate. The university accepts almost all students that meet the basic admission requirements. 

UG students with a 3.0 GPA or PG students with a 2.5 GPA in past studies are eligible to pursue higher studies at CSU East Bay.

CSUEB offers conditional admission to UG programs to students who are academically qualified but have not met the English proficiency requirements at the time of application.

Such students have to attend the ALP intensive english programme until they meet the requirement (IELTS or TOEFL).

Indian students need to pay USD 110 (INR 10.2 K) in enrollment deposit at the CSU East Bay. The deposit covers the mandatory orientation for students at the university. Students cannot register for classes without paying the same.
