Hi Bala, different programs have different career outcomes. Your approach of comparing the two is incorrect. Now, Masters are better for research oriented careers. PG Diploma are accelerated programs, most are professional programs. Decide according to your career interest.

Hi,
You must write to the colleges, if you have excellent profile overall they may consider. More than 10 backlogs is a difficult matter. Email them and create a rapport.

GRE is usually required by top ranked Public Universities in Canada. It is also true that lower ranked universities might not ask for GRE or if they do, they usually waive it. Colleges like George Brown College, Seneca - Toronto, Canada do not ask for GRE. They might waive off IELTS or TOEFL score too. GRE stands for Graduate Record Examinations, here specifically the GRE General Test administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service), a not-for-profit company. The exam is used to assess students' Quantitative and Verbal aptitudes and is required for admission to many graduate programs.
