This is good though of higher education but I think if you have good base in mechanical you should pursue Bachelor in mechanical engineering because Very large PSUs offer job in mechanical.

Please check the UGC recognition of your university. You must also take a WES evaluation to get your credential evaluated as per Canada's education framework. If evaluated positively you can go ahead.

48% is not easily accepted. You must check for pathways and foundation programs in desired countries or universities yourself, the requirements vary. Depending on your profile you may be accepted but I don't want to give you any false expectation. It is therefore best to contact the colleges and check for yourself. Canada, Australia, New Zealand has some of the best pathway programs. But they are also competitive when it marks to academic percentile.
