You can start working as visual merchandiser, illustrator, textile and sketch assistant and most importantly use your skills in managerial responsibilities. Both offer you the same career prospects. The only difference is, if you aspire to do your Ph.D. in future, then you will have to do an MBA as PGDM won't make you eligible for it.
