It would be good if you take admission in IIMC, but as per my experience. It really doesn't matter a degree or course from brand especially in professional courses. Just check the data of journalism and mass communication industry. How many are from IIMC? Then only you will come to know the real fact of our industry. Name doesn't matter. If your basic fundamentals are strong, you are good in writing, and technically sound, then it's really easy to grab the opportunities in market. You can achieve the higher level only just because of your hard work and your skills and your practical exposure of industry.
Even many of us guys are doing from distance and joining as intern in any news channel, newspaper and other one stream. Because after the three years, you have degree plus three years real industry experience. But if you admit with any campus on regular basis then only you will have degree and market will treat you as fresher only like others. So just think first.
