Generally the CAT/GMAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/IIFT etc. are conducted much before the final semester exams of most undergraduate courses. Candidates are also eligible in some of these exams from their second last semester which gives them enough time to ponder over their choices based on the scores obtained. The couselling also takes place immediately once the results of the exams are out. Candidates who are expectant to get an admission but are still not done with the final semester exams are required to upload provisional marks so as to continue with the counselling. This option is readily available across all counselling procedures. The

Yes, IFMR accepts CAT scores for admission to MBA course. Candidates seeking for admission to MBA can qualify for CAT exam with minimum 80 percentile and submit their scores at the time of filling the application form. Apart from this, the institute also accepts scores of other national level entrance exam such as XAT, NMAT, CMAT, GRE and GMAT.
