Hello Prasenjit Saha, different states have put different conditions for eligibility for admission to Diploma after 10th class. Also the minimum marks to be obtained in 10th is different for different categories of students. This information you can find out from the webpage of the directorate of technical education of your state. If you are not in the zone of eligibility then perhaps you can go on to complete your 12th, obtain good marks in the examination and then once again seek admission either for Diploma or for regular graduation in engineering. There are very few course that to for 1 year or 2 year. You can only pursue Diploma course in fashion design for 1 or 2 year not more than that. If you want better course you need tho study till 12 in any recognised board. Thank you.
