JB, The required percentile for IIM at individual sections i. e (PVRC, PDILR, PQA and PT) level are 70 for each and 80 overall for general category.
The academic qualifications at IIMs scores are calculated as under :-
1. Application rating (AR) for 10th class is calculated according to percent marks as follows :-

2. Rating Scores for the 12th Std. Examination (Rating Score B) is calculated as follows

3. Rating Scores for the Bachelors Degree Examination (Rating Score C) is calculated as follows

With the help of above Normalized AR score is calculated as : AR of applicant is divided by average of top 50 AR score from the applicant pool.
Composite score =0.3 (Normalized AR score) + 0.7 (Normalized overall score in CAT-2018)
The final selection score is calculated as following :- The FCS of a candidate who appears in AWT & PI will be computed as follows:
FCS = 0.50 (Normalized PI Score) + 0.10 (Normalized AWT Score) + 0.40 (CS).
The normalized PI and AWT scores of a candidate are their scores in the respective field divided by the average of the top 1% scores in the same field respectively.

CAT (Common Admission Test) is the Prestigious All India management entrance exam conducted by IIMs. The previous year more than two lacs of students were competed for more than 1500 of seats, which is making it the most competitive exam in the country. The CAT exam can be kept in the moderate class and needs some SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely) preparation methods. The eligibility criteria of CAT is as under:-
A candidate applying for CAT exam must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The minimum percentage required for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) category is 45% or equivalent CGPA. The CAT exam can be divided into following three sections as:-
1. Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Commercial Mathematics and Miscellaneous.
2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: - Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, Sufficiency.
3. Verbal Ability: - Reading Comprehension, Verbal Logic, Vocabulary and Grammar Correction. The Quantitative Aptitude section covered the fundamental mathematics, based on 10 + 2 difficulty level from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Commercial Mathematics (Word Problems). The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning section comprises of questions from graphs, charts, tables and paragraphs. The Verbal Ability section comprises of questions on comprehension and usage of Standard English grammar.
