That depends on the eligibility criteria set by your school for selecting a stream in class 11-12. I suggest you check with the authorities in your schools, or ask the teachers or fellow students about the eligibility criteria for science stream in your school.

Hi Yatin, 53% is a poor score and chances are less, unfortunately. Also, coming from NIOS admission chances anyway is very competitive. You can check countries in Europe but write to the universities first and then apply. NIOS may or may not be accepted depending on the university.

Hi Raghavan,
The scores are good, it will depend on your overall profile now and your non-academic profile. If Harvard sees you fit as per their admission process you may have a chance. You must not only have good academics but must be an all-rounder and contributor.

Hi Aravind, generally for OBC category, the cutoff is around 80-85 percentile. So, there are slim chances below 80 percentile.

Dear son,
JEE Mains scores aren't seen with % scale; although you can convert your score into %. Rankings and caste are very important. Answer for your question; if you score 95% in JEE Mains that will give you a rank under 100. That is super excellent.
