General practice is to choose between doing a +2 in either science, commerce or arts. Going for a diploma is another option. Choose what will let you enliven your passion and think of your future plans.

Most state boards provide online forms for admissions into junior colleges. Information on colleges are also provided in the form of booklets. After you are allotted a seat in an institute, you must contact the college and follow their admission procedure. Fees for Governmental institutions is very less than even Rs.10000 p.a. However, bifocal courses can fetch upto Rs.30000 p.a.

If you wish to gain insight on various other fields that are in some ways connected to your field of interest you should look out for 11th and 12th preferably in computer science(bifocal). However, if you only wish to focus on your subject keeping away of others Diploma would be a better choice for you.

You can go for bifocal courses like computer science or IT. You can also apply for a Diploma in the same.
Computer science will expose you both to software and hardware. While IT gives you benefits of software and networking.

Don't be disheartened. You can choose over based on seat availability, go for certain diplomas, skill-based courses initiated by Govt. or even reappear for your exams.

First decide whom you want to listen, to your mind or your heart. There might be some reasons or influences that you have such a conflict between the two. Find out what interests you more. Science subjects teaches about the why and how of physical chemical and biological processes. Commerce subjects are about the issues of economies of countries, accounts and finances of business. Two different worlds, see which intrigues you the most.
