To be eligible for admission to Iims, you need to meet the minimum academic eligibility criteria, which typically requires candidates to have at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in their undergraduate degree from a recognised university. To be eligible for a Diploma in Architecture course after Class 10, a candidate must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognised board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. This percentile is a little borderline low, which means you need to perform better in XAT to be eligible. A reasonable XAT percentile for your profile should be 99 percentile but you should to call & get some information about your admission.

Absolutely,
Your 10th 12th marks does not have guarantee with you being successful or even you getting placed on the basis of these results. However, some companies do ask for this criteria but always remember that these marks aren't going to help you in long run. What is going to help you is your skillset. So rather than to think about why you got so less marks try and build up more skills which will help you during interviews in IT sector.
