If you meet the eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced exam, there is no requirement for you to obtain 75 percent in 12th grade so that you can be accepted at IITs. Admission is solely dependent on how one has done in the entrance exam and not their class 12 grades as far as the JEE Advanced is concerned.

MBSE HSSLC is easier as compared to the CBSE 12th exam. Evaluation is liberal for MBSE HSSLC as compared to CBSE 12th. As far as competitive exams line NEET, and JEE are concerned, CBSE 12th is better. Students who learned CBSE 12th will be able to crack competitive exams easily.

Yes, you are eligible for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for BSc at SMC Chennai is that the candidate should be Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised university. If the qualifying exam board is other than that of the Tamil Nadu HSE, CBSE and ICSC, you then need to obtain an eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.
