B.Des selection process has few eligibillity criteria the candidate must have scored 50% in their 12th.
The candidates must apply through the aofficial website of the college.
Then there will be aptitude test for the selected students and have to score the cutoff marks to get qualified.
Then after selecting the candidates are required to clear interview for getting the admission.B.Des has specialisations in it.
Such as fashion design, interior design, animation, jewellery design etc.

Yes, to get admission in B.Tech at Pratap University JEE is necessary and their are various entrance exams accepted by the University and the candidate are selected on the basis of quota as set by the government and candidate should have a minimum of 70% in 10+2 grade. It depends on the merit list of the year released by the college every year. Yes, You Can get into Faculty of Computer Applications, Manav Rachna with 70% in class 12th. A candidate requires pass in 10+2 Examination / Equivalent Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects including English as compulsory subject along with 4 subjects with the highest score out of the remaining subjects. They also accepts Pearson test score for admission. Then you have to appear in Manav rachna national aptitude test (MRNAT) entrance exam.

It is possible to get into UPES School of Business with 70% in class 12th. The eligibility criteria to get into UPES is a minimum score of 50% in classes 10th and 12th. Although your selection will solely depend on your performance in the selection round, but 70% score in 12th can help you in your selection. The candidate should have secured at least CGPA/percentile not less than 6.000/10.000 or 3.000/5.000 or 55% marks in aggregate in B.Tech degree. From a recognised University.
Meeting the minimum mark requirement of 50% for the unreserved category (as per Pantnagar University Admission). For B.Sc. in Agriculture Economics, a B.Sc. or B.Sc.
So as per the admission process in B.Sc at GBPUAT there is no strict rule for having better marks in Intermediate, all you need is to secure a good rank in the entrance examination of university (generally held in month of April or may) as per your category.
