After completing the registration process for the CG PET counselling process, the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. It is to be noted that the selection of choices has to be done in the order of preference. Since the order of preference is an important factor during the allotment process, the candidates are advised to be careful while making their selection. No requests for change of submitted choices will be accepted by the authorities.

CG PET counselling process will be held online for all qualified candidates. To be registered for the counselling process, the candidates will have to click on the registration link and provide their basic details such as CG PET/JEE Main roll number, domicile, date of birth, etc. After registration, the candidates will have to fill out their personal, academic and contact details and upload their scanned photograph and signature. The counselling fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card and the choice of colleges and courses has to be done in the order of preference.

If the candidates miss their document verification for the CG PET counselling process, they are advised to immediately contact the authorities. There is a high chance the authorities will not accept any requests for rescheduling of the document verification date. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the scheduled CG PET counselling dates carefully. In case of any questions regarding the document verification, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately.

Registered candidates will have to verify their documents for the CG PET counselling process. All candidates will have to report rank-wise to the allotted centres for the document verification. Some of the important documents to be presented for verification are - CG PET/JEE Main rank card, CG PET/JEE Main hall ticket, 10th and 12th standard mark sheet, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate and migration certificate. Candidates are also advised to carry their passport size photograph in case it is required at the centres.

The authorities will release the rank-wise dates for the document verification in the CG PET counselling process. The registered candidates will have to physically report to their allotted centres as per their ranks for the verification of documents. All required original documents along with photocopies have to be submitted for verification. After the documents are verified, the candidates will be provided with a receipt and an acknowledgement slip. The authorities will allow the candidate's parents to report for the verification in case of any medical issues.

No. The candidates will not be able to change their allotted CG PET exam centres under any circumstances. Once the centres are allotted, the authorities will not accept any requests to change it. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while selecting their choice of exam cities in the CG PET application form. Allotment of centres will be done as per the preferences submitted by the candidates and availability. The authorities will have the power to change the candidate's allotted exam centre only if there is no availability in the selected centre.

Candidates are expected to conduct CG PET in 33 cities. Candidates will be able to check more details regarding the total number of exam centres online at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. For every city, the authorities will prepare many CG PET exam centres. The list of exam centres in each district/city are given in the table below.

The authorities have released the list of CG PET exam centres online at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates will be able to check the list of districts and cities where the entrance exam will be held through the exam centres of CG PET. By checking the list of exam cities, the candidates will be able to make their choice in the order of preference before filling out the CG PET application form. Along with the list of exam cities, their corresponding centre codes will also be present for the candidate's reference. All of the examination centres will be located within the state.

CG PET merit list will be prepared and released by the CPEB. The authorities will refer to the CG PET result to prepare the merit list, which will be used to rank the candidates for the counselling and admission process. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be allotted seats as per their preferences, category and seat availability. The tie-breaking rules will be followed if two or more candidates will secure the same marks.

The tie-breaking guidelines will be followed by the authorities if two or more candidates secure the same score in CG PET. The first preference will be given to those candidates who have scored higher in Mathematics. If the tie still persists, then the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be allotted a higher rank. If the tie has not broken, then the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry will be given a higher rank. If the candidates have secured the same marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry sections, then the candidate who is older in age will be given preference.
