Hello, Thanks for asking. The main difference between SSC CGL & CAT is - SSC CGL is easier than CAT. CAT is famous for its unpredictability. In SSC CGL, you have to prepare for - Quantitative Aptitude, English, reasoning, GK, trigonometry, geometry, algebra. Preparation for SSC CGL will help you in preparing for basics required for CAT. Once your basics are strong, application of them should be learn for CAT. The 4 major sections of CAT Exam - Logical Reasoning Data Interpretation Quantitative Aptitude Verbal & Reading Comprehension.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization responsible for recruiting individuals for posts in different Ministries and departments of the Government of India & in subordinate offices.
Age Limit - Candidates age should be in between 18 to 27 years to apply for SSC CGL exam.
Education qualification - Candidates who have completed their graduation from a well-known university or college can apply for SSC CGL exam.

Staff Selection Commission mentioned the new exam pattern in the official notification of 2022 exam. The Commission reduced the number of Tiers in the exam from 4 to 2. The Commission reduced the number of tiers to expedite the exam process because of the Central Government Mandate to increase the recruitment in the Government. The SSC CGL exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the following posts:
- Group 'B' Gazetted
- Group 'B' Non-Gazetted
- Group 'C'
