No, you are not eligible for UGC NET. You have to complete your Master's degree first, then only you will be eligible to appear for NET.

Dear Ravi,
As per the guidelines of UGC, no university in India can offer engineering and medical courses through distance mode. AICTE would not approve these courses/certificates. You must opt for the regular mode for chemical engineering.

Hello Anshul,
Even though, recognition as IIT came quite late, earlier version of ISM was indeed having great academic reputation. Hence, I feel that you should have no hesitancy in joining chemical engineering in this IIT.

UEC has the best chemical engineering department in Madhya Pradesh. Department of Chemical Engineering is the biggest department In Ujjain Engineering College, it has much more labs than any other department in college, faculty members are also very well qualified and experienced. It's has a good strength Of facilities and sufficient laboratories, chemical engineering department of uec is also known as CHESU KUNJ. Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara with the approval of UGC. First year of chemical engineering classes will start with in 2nd week of august.
