For 2024, cut off was 2545 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 6650 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 10102 and closing rank was 11339. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 16632 and 17395. Admission to B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 25048 and 59818. Admission to BTech +M.Techin Chemical Engineering at NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exams like JEE. Applicants are advised to first confirm the category in which they are applying and then check the cut-offs.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur other than General category are - 2034 for OBC, 1281 for SC, 678 for ST, 762 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
