Yes, CIET provides better placements than the Himachal Pradesh University, Chitkara. Compared to Chitkara University in Himachal Pradesh, CIET offers greater compensation packages, although both universities have an 80% success rate in placement. This is not to say that Chitkara University in Himachal Pradesh is an inferior college in fact, it is a similarly good university that provides students with competitive pay packages. That depends on the B.Tech you are taking, CIET's seat intake may differ slightly from it. The total seat intake for B.Tech in Computer Science and engineering stands at 120. Some 60 seats are intaken for B.Tech Electrical and communication engineering. The number accepting B.Tech in Artificial intelligence and data Science is about 60 seats or so. Other than this course, all other courses will each take 30-60 students a year.
