The difficulty level of CUET might vary with different slots. CUET follows a normalisation process in order to make the exam fair for everyone. Candidates with the higher difficulty level set get additional  marks in the normalisation process. On the other hand candidates who had the easier difficulty level set of exam paper may lose marks. With the massive number of candidates appearing for the exam, the competition level is very high.

Along with Christ University Entrance Test CUET, students applying for the Christ university also have to appear for the Skill Assessment Test, Logical Ability Test and Micro Presentation. 

The Skill Assessment Test is the written test to evaluate candidate's aptitude and writing ability. The test assess the student's reasoning ability. It also test's the students ability of critical thinking, communications, and writing skills.

CUET exam pattern is prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body. CUET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in a hybrid mode. CUET UG 2025 will be divided into three parts which will carry objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will carry five marks and for each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one mark. After downloading the CUET provisional answer key, candidates must also download CUET response sheet. Candidates must match answers marked on the response sheet. While marking correct answers, candidates must follow marking scheme mentioned below:

  • +5 marks will be given for every correct answer

CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode for 15 subjects which are: Chemistry, English, Biology, General Test, Economics, Hindi, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Physical Education, Business Studies, Accountancy, History, Political Science and Sociology. For the CUET subjects which has received less registrations will be held in computer based mode. NTA has released the CUET 2024 datesheet. Candidates can now check the subject wise exam date for CUET 2024.

NTA prescribes the CUET UG marking scheme. Check below to know the CUET UG marking scheme 2024:

• Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5).

• Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).

• Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
