Anybody who has completed a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks in graduation from a recognised academic institution can go ahead and apply for the M.Tech Civil Engineering course at several reputed colleges and universities across the country.
You will also have to clear entrance tests conducted at the national/state/institutional levels with a good rank to be able to get admission to the best colleges such as, the IITs and the NITs. Generally, for Diploma courses, you must have passed class 10, or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks each in Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. You must have also studied English as one of the compulsory subjects. Other than that, you must be passionate enough about the field to do well in the course and possess critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills that will help you a lot in your career as a Civil Engineering professional.
