NIT Trichy cutoff for the Joint Entrance Examination is out for the year 2024. Candidates must note that JoSAA counselling for this year will be in 5 rounds only. 

Here is the category wise cutoff for JoSAA counselling for civil engineering- 

• JEE Main Round 2 Closing rank for B.Tech in Civil Engineering (General Category) - 16190

The cutoff for other rounds is yet to be released and it will be available on Shiksha as soon as it is online.

Yes, according to the educational policy of India it is possible for a person pursue civil engineering course even after having a degree in physics with Meteorology. However, the age will not be relevant as the students of the engineering institutions will be much younger. Also, there is no age limit for appearing in JEE [Main].

The average package for B.Tech Civil Engineering at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research is around INR 4-6 LPA . However, the maximum salary package offered was INR 32 LPA, and some prominent recruiters for PCCOE are Amazon, ZF India, Directi, Infosys, Tata, IBM, Bajaj, KSB Pumps, Alfa Laval, Godrej, Minda, KPIT, Cummins, Whirlpool, Volkswagen, Atlas Copco, Forbes Marshall, and Dassault Systems.

The Institute of Engineering and Technology GLA University provides Meritorious Scholarships to those candidates or students who got 90% in 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
