Yes, studying Civil Engineering is still worthwhile as the construction sector of India has contributed to the GDP growth at approx. 6.1% in 2024 on an estimation. Hence, we can the demand for Civil Engineers has also increased with that. Plus, there is an infrastructure boom with projects like Smart Cities Mission and Bharatmala Pariyojana which again raises the demand for Civil Engineers.

Hello candidate.
Generally, for Diploma courses, you must have passed class 10, or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks each in Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. You must have also studied English as one of the compulsory subjects. The eligibility requirements for admission into Civil Engineering courses in India can be stated as
Minimum Qualification: You must have completed your 12th standard (or equivalent) from a recognised school/college.
