Hi,
UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
To be eligible :
- You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
- You are eligible if you are in the final year of graduation.
- Your age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
- You must be an Indian citizen.

It doesn't matter u give exam after ug or pg.u must be prepared for IAS.preparation for IAS requires almost 2.5 years .starting preparing from ug is good

Eligibility-
An Indian National Citizen
A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and
In the age limit of 21-30 years
So it is suggestible that you pick a degree course through lateral entry and then proceed with Civil services.
It is also advisable that you pick bachelors's degree program now and by the end of 3rd year, pick coaching for the IAS/KAS exam
*Till the time you join a professional coaching institute, I would advice you for self preparation.
For general awareness,you should read the daily newspaper and even watching the news will help.
You could also use magazines such as CSR, Competition Master, Banking Service

1. Nationality
-For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
-For the Indian Revenue Service, a candidate must be one of the following:
