After 12th in science with physics, chemistry and maths as main subjects, engineering is one of the popular fields to choose. There are ample opportunities after engineering in Private and Public sector. IT industries recruits a lot of engineers every year. Entrance exams conducted by PSUs for graduate students. Another option is Bachelors in Science, people keen to study in-depth about one subject, than its a better option. Research-oriented students can go for B.Sc and then M.Sc followed by Ph.D later.

You can repeat your one year with maths as a subject. You can give the exam of maths next year. You only need to give a single exam of maths. For the same year, it is not possible.
Thank you.

If you have an inclination for technology, you can definitely pursue engineering courses. Maths ability is a must for success in engineering. If you do not like engineering, you can opt for commerce stream, which offers much wider job options such as CA, CS, CFA, etc. There are other options such as BBA, B.Sc. in hotel management, law, etc. which offer substantially higher job opportunities. However, it all depends on your taste, preference and target. Best of luck.

IP is not a bad subject. You get Knowledge about Java programming, database management, interface, coding. After 12th, you can go for BCA /MCA or BCA/MBA combination so you get the job. As we all know that how the technical field scope is rising day by day in this era. So, you just do your IP calmly. Don't worry. And best of luck.

Hi,
I would suggest you to give her the space to decide what she would want to pursue instead of forcing or suggesting her a course which she might regret taking later on. Let her decide and choose what she likes to do passionately. Nursing as a course is great but it will not fetch you a good salary. Hotel Management is the best course but it needs lots of dedication to complete. It's a really hardworking job and needs passionate employees. I suggest that after completing graduation in Home Science, she can go for courses like Bachelor's in Home Science, Bachelor's course in Fashion Designing / Textile Designing, Dietetics, Counsellin
...more
